GLENWOOD residents are up in arms over a decision by Fraser Coast Regional Council's planners to recommend three NBN fixed wireless towers for refusal at next week's council meeting.

Residents are outraged at the decision, which will leave us without the NBN for years.

We are banding together to fight this decision - Fraser Coast councillors must approve these DAs next week.

The Glenwood community has spoken loudly and clearly - we want these towers.

NBN had a community session earlier this year and the Glenwood Progress Hall was absolutely packed - more than 100 turned up at the same time demanding to get the NBN.

The Glenwood Progress Association fully supports the towers.

The residents fully support the towers.

Council has not received a single objection to the towers - not one objection has been lodged, and they are recommending they be rejected next week. We cannot believe this.

We desperately need the NBN - nobody has any service here - even the NBN told us we have the worst internet in the country. …
