Principals Spring into Fun at Leadership Conference

IT CAN get a bit lonely at the top, which is why Catholic primary school principals from across the state have had such a great time at a conference together in Toowoomba.

The Queensland Catholic Primary Principals Conference is set to continue at Picnic Point today and organising committee chair Donaugh Shirley said there was some festivity in the air.

There was plenty of serious work to be done discussing educational and leadership strategies, checking out classroom technology and listening to guest speakers, but Mrs Shirley said the focus was on networking and shared experiences as much as it was on learning.

"We've got people from Cairns, Quilpie; all over the shop," Mrs Shirley said.

"This year we've also invited the middle leadership as well because those people will be the principals of the future.

"The most important thing I feel is the networking. …
