SOMETIMES the international break comes at the wrong time.

After a bad start, Newcastle had managed to put a run of successive wins together, and were starting to look like the team which we all hoped they would be.

Saying that, it's hardly been quiet at St James's Park, with Rafa Benitez strengthening his squad even more, so there can be no excuses when the inevitable injuries kick in.

Newcastle find themselves in front of the Sky cameras once again, as they head to Derby today for another tea-time kick-off.

No doubt they will be looking to pick up where they left off and are 6/4 to get all three points away from home.
