HOCKEY: In an inspired performance from the Latham brothers, Cities remains the number one men's team in Bundaberg.

With a 5-0 win over Rovers on Saturday night, the team claimed their second straight premiership.

With player coach Brodie scoring two goals in the second half and Joel receiving man of the match honours with a strong display in the midfield, both brothers helped guide their team to a large win in the end.

Talking after the contest Brodie said it was a good day for the family.

"Joel played really good all day for us," he said.

"To be the minor premiers and the premiers is a great feeling for the team."

Cities didn't have it all their own way though with Rovers putting up a gallant fight.

With their goalkeeper Josh McNamara playing another great game in the final, he kept the team in it at half time as they conceded just one goal. …
