1. CALOUNDRA STREET FAIR

THE Caloundra Street Fair is a must-do event attracting Sunshine Coast locals and visitors. Featuring more than 200 stalls, the fair is more than just a market with something for the whole family: activities for kids, handcrafted locally made products and art, live entertainment and street theatre. Enjoy fresh local food and flowers, fresh juices, tasty breakfasts, coffee, lunch and delicious sweet treats.

2. MINECRAFT ANIMATION

ENTER the world of Minecraft and create your own stop-go movie using Minecraft Lego. The activity is suitable for ages eight and over.

3. GIANT SNOW DOME

Where: Pelican Waters Shopping Village, Pelican Waters Boulevard

When: Tomorrow to Wednesday, 9am-3pm

THE Pelican Waters Shopping Village will host a free giant snow dome these school holidays.

4. ROCK CLIMBING

Where: Sunshine Coast Recreation Centre, 80 Currimundi Rd, Currimundi

When: Tomorrow to next Saturday: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9am-noon; Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 1-4pm; Saturday, 10am-2pm

Cost: $11 per person

BRING out your inner mountaineer, feel the thrill of the wall beneath your hands and feet, and show off your agility prowess at the indoor rock climbing at the Sunshine Coast Recreation Centre in Currimundi. These walls are 9.5m high with 12 different ascents with a diversity of difficulty including "crack" and "overhangs" for the more experienced climber. This fun activity is hosted by the Queensland Recreation Centres and is for anyone over the age of five. Children between ages five and 12 require an adult for supervision.

5. ICE AGE IS COMING
