A Smashing Time as Kids Shell out to Egg Teachers to See

A PRIMARY school has gone to eggstreme measures to help out one of its pupils.

Teachers from Lingfield Primary in Middlesbrough have taken on the "Egghead Challenge" to raise money for a seriously ill child.

Finley Ingles, who is in the reception class at the Marton school, has an inoperable brain tumour.

His only hope of recovery is to undergo treatment currently only available in the USA.

Finley This summer, Finley's mum Kara came up with an idea to help get closer to their PS200,000 goal.

She created the Egghead Challenge and encouraged supporters to film themselves cracking an egg on their head.

The school held a raffle to determine who would be the lucky children to humiliate their teachers by covering them in raw egg.

Headteacher Phil Thackstone said: "We wanted to do our best to support one of our children.

"We sold raffle tickets to see which children would crack the egg over their teachers' heads. …
