AMONG the cases dealt with by Teesside Magistrates' Court on September 22 were: Lewis Deam Wilkinson, 23, of Berwick Hills Avenue, Middlesbrough, given a 12-month community order with a rehabilitation activity requirement and ordered to pay PS85 costs and an PS80 charge for assault.

Stephen Paul Clayton, 44, of Pease Court, Lingdale, given a six-month community order with a rehabilitation activity requirement and ordered to pay PS800 compensation for criminal damage.

Emma Cross, 34, of Newick Avenue, Middlesbrough, fined PS265 and ordered to pay PS50 compensation and PS625 costs for assault.

Brian Perry, 31, of Tealby Walk, Middlesbrough, jailed for 24 weeks, banned from driving for 46 months and ordered to pay PS150 costs and a PS115 charge for drinkdriving and driving while disqualified. Gary Michael Wilfred Slater, 35, of High Street West, Redcar, jailed for eight weeks and ordered to pay PS120 compensation for theft. Stephen Donovan, 37, of The Front, Seaton Carew, given a six-month community order with a rehabilitation activity requirement and ordered to pay an PS85 charge for having a kitchen knife in a public place and failing to surrender to custody.

Louise Horner, 37, of Sandpiper Close, Redcar, given a 24-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a PS15 charge for assault.

Barbie Pigg, 47, of Finsbury Street, Middlesbrough, given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay PS50 compensation for assault and failing to surrender to custody.

Simon Ward, 37, of Yarm Road, Stockton, given a six-month community order with a rehabilitation activity requirement and ordered to pay an PS85 charge for having a craft knife in a public place, theft, and breaching a conditional discharge. Christopher Brian Atkinson, 36, of Oxford Road, Hartlepool, jailed for eight months, banned from driving for 24 months and ordered to pay PS250 compensation for driving while disqualified, using a vehicle without insurance, theft and breaching a conditional discharge. …
