IT might look like this cute kitty has been dressed up for trick-or-treating, but the bright Halloween jumper conceals horrific injuries An RSPCA investigation is under way after the cat was discovered with open wounds, bizarrely covered by what looked like a makeshift Halloween sweater.

The black tom cat had three large gashes on his back, and the blackand-orange fabric, printed with bats, had stuck painfully to the sores.

He was found on Sunday by a member of the public in High Spen, Rowlands Gill, who immediately called the charity.

"He is now in RSPCA care where he is receiving vet- erinary treatment for the injuries, along with all the TLC he needs. …
