LAWRENCE McCormack, 21, of Roman Avenue, Walker, pleaded guilty to two counts of driving without insurance and two of driving without a licence at Welbeck Road, Walker, and the Jet Garage, on Hadrian Road, Newcastle, on April 26. He was fined PS120 and ordered to pay PS85 costs and a PS30 victim surcharge. He was also banned from driving for 12 months. ANDREW Nicholson, 48, of East Avenue, Whitley Bay, pleaded guilty to driving without insurance in Whitley Bay on November 8 2015. He was fined PS460 and ordered to pay PS85 costs and a PS46 victim surcharge. He was also given six penalty points. JORDAN Reilly, 20, of Stannington Road, North Shields, pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis and resisting a police officer in West Percy Street, North Tyneside, on March 21. He was fined a total of PS100 and ordered to pay PS85 costs and a PS20 victim surcharge.

KEVIN Robson, 40, of Lannerwood, North Shields, pleaded guilty to stealing a Scholl foot care product, worth PS39.99, from Boots on October 24. He was discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay PS85 costs and a PS20 victim surcharge. JONATHAN Barton, 24, of Musgrave Terrace, Pelaw, pleaded guilty to stealing a mobile phone from a man and a pedal cycle from another man in Whitley Bay on July 11. He was discharge conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay PS85 costs and PS60 compensation.

CATHERINE Farn, 31, of Saint Lukes Road, Percy Main, pleaded guilty to, jointly with another, stealing a perfume set and other goods, worth PS56.44, from B & M Bargains in Whitley Bay on August 4. She was fined PS40 and ordered to pay PS30 costs and a PS30 victim surcharge.

DEAN Neary, 47, of Upper Elsdon Street, North Shields, pleaded guilty to stealing whiskey, worth PS74.98, from the Co-op on July 17 and possessing Subutex in North Shields on October 25. He was ordered to pay PS74.98 compensation.

COLIN Richardson, 48, of Hugh Street, Wallsend, pleaded guilty to stealing vodka, whiskey and meat, worth PS67, from the Co-op on August 25. He also admitted breaching a conditional PS30 victim surcharge. …
