MICHAEL McINTYRE'S BIG SHOW Tonight, BBC1, 8.10pm THE comedian invites singersongwriter Rick Astley to perform his new single Dance from his hit album 50.

Also taking to the stage are rising Irish comedian Al Porter, and Olly Murs and double gold medal-winning Olympic swimmer Rebecca Adlington is the victim of the mobile phone Send To All.

Plus, two very junior producers surprise their mother when they take over the show.

Planet Earth II Tomorrow, BBC1, 8pm FOOTAGE of wild animals that have made a home in cities, including leopards on the streets of Mumbai, peregrine falcons hunting among New York's skyscrapers, hyenas that live alongside the people of Harar and langurs in Jodhpur, which are regarded as having great religious significance by the citizens.

The programme also examines how some animals are struggling to survive in urban environments, and questions how cities can be built to serve their needs as well as those of the human inhabitants.

BBC MUSIC AWARDS 2016 Monday, BBC1, 8.30pm FEARNE Cotton and Claudia Winkleman host the third staging of the ceremony, celebrating the past 12 months in music at the EXCEL London, with Gemma Cairney reporting backstage.

Featuring performances by Robbie Williams, the 1975, John Legend, Kaiser Chiefs, Craig David, Lukas Graham, Zara Larsson and Emeli Sande, awards will be presented for British Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, BBC Music Introducing Artist of the Year, BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge Performance of the Year and BBC Radio 2 Album of the Year.

THE ROYAL VARIETY PERFORMANCE Tuesday, ITV, 7.30pm DAVID WALLIAMS hosts the annual event, this time from London's Hammersmith Apollo in the presence of The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall.

The line-up includes Barry Gibb, Sting, Robbie Williams, Gary Barlow, Emeli Sande, DNCE, OneRepublic, ABC and Britain's Got Talent winner Lance Corporal Richard Jones. …
