AMBLE Tavern reached the NFA Sunday Cup final with an excellent 4-1 win at Blakelaw Social.

Josh Hay led the scoring with a hatrick, Brent Asibitt adding the other goal.

They will now face Burradon and New Fordley in the decider at Whitley Park, Benton, on April 29.

Bedlington Market Tavern progressed to the final of the SA Randolph Cup with a 3-0 home success against Newsham Victory.

On target for the Tavern were Ryan Stafford, Jonny Barrett and Daniel Dargue.

The Tavern will now face Amble Tavern in the final in four weeks' time.

In the Eric Anderson Cup quarterfinals, Ashington Station Lounge needed penaties to see off Blyth Town Sunday. The Lounge won 5-4 after the match had ended 1-1 after normal and extra time.

John Leonard netted for the Lounge, Martyn Hepple replying for Blyth Town.

In the Premier Division, Bedlington Social Club triumphed 4-2 at Ashington Town Central.

On the mark for the Central were James Convery and Scott Neal. …
