EVERY HALF TERM we go to our unique forest school site. It's a mile away from school however we enjoy the walk. We do lots of different activities and eat a packed lunch from our school cook Mrs Dixon. When we arrive we sit around the fire with hot chocolate and a biscuit, talking about the day's activities. We all enjoy going. Thea - Daisy says "We are so lucky to have our own forest school."

At the site we have a fire pit where the fire is lit. Around the fire, there are logs for us to sit on. We enjoy sitting around the fire pit and sometimes we cook on the fire. There's a lake further down the site and we can have lunch where we want as long as the adults can see us.

Oak class' last visit was on a cold February day but we kept warm with lots of activities. First we played Viking games - pass the bear skin and tug of war. …
