I usually pay at the pump so that's a mute point but occasionally I have to pay inside. If every petrol station abided by the rules of switching the pumps of if a minor is on the forecourt could you imagine how many times a day they would be switched on and off? It would cause havoc."

Robyn Weller: "When using premium fuel there is no option to pay at the pump at places like Esso and Shell, as long as it's glass fronted and I can see there's no queue and I'm parked next to the door I quickly run in so I can see the car and baby at all times."
