MATT BANAHAN is backing England fly-half George Ford to help push Bath closer to a Premiership play-off place by defeating Leicester, the club he is joining in the summer, at Twickenham tomorrow.

Leicester are in fourth place on 51 points -- three ahead of Bath -- and trail third-placed Saracens by 12 points, highlighting the need to deliver a first win under new head coach Matt O'Connor.

With Leicester's Freddie Burns heading the other way to Bath, there will be even more interest in a fixture being watched by England head coach Eddie Jones and Banahan said: "The days of a player being at one club for seven or eight years have gone in the professional era and there is a lot of movement these days. It is just part the game now.

"We all know how professional George is and what he has done for Bath over the last three years and he is going to give it his all for the rest of the season. In the Leicester squad there is Freddie, who will be coming to Bath, and Owen Williams, the other outside half, who is off to Gloucester. …
