SWIMMING: Tom Winter, Will Gilmore, Cooper Harm and Henry Reardon have all won medals during the Queensland Schools Swimming Championships at Chandler.

The 13-19 years championships were held late last week and the 10-12 years championships will finish tomorrow.

Winter, Gilmore (both Warwick club) and Harm (Allora club) all train under Andrew Fidge at WIRAC.

Reardon, 13, is in his first year as a boarder at Toowoomba Grammar but Warwick is his home.

Winter was part of a gold medal winning Darling Downs 17-19 years four by 50m boys relay team.

Gilmore won bronze in the 14-years boys 50m butterfly while Harm won his bronze medal in 11-years 50m backstroke yesterday afternoon.

Reardon won silver in the 13-19 200m individual medley in multi class swimming and was fourth in five 13-15 years events, the 50m freestyle, 100m butterfly, 50m breaststroke, 100m freestyle and 50m butterfly. He contested nine events in all at Chandler.

Liam Vickers made the final in 50m butterfly for 12-years boys and Emma Day was a finalist in 11-years 100m breaststroke. …
