New Tenant in Ray's Site Revealed; Jobs to Come as Joyce Mayne Expands Next Door

THE national retailer moving into a vacant Ruthven St building is not only promising more computer and electrical goods but plenty of jobs too.

Joyce Mayne Toowoomba electrical proprietor Wayne Peters announced the store would expand next door into the Ray's Outdoors site later this year.

"More than $1 million was spent on the fit-out with all the latest technology going to be installed in the computer and electrical sections," he said.

"The store is going to be the most exciting electrical and computer store on the Darling Downs."

The new computer section will be more than 440m2 in size and have a fully-functional photo centre with photo kiosks, tech bays, phones, tablets and loads more.

Proprietor of the section will be Morgan Page.

Mr Peters said Joyce Mayne's electrical section would also expand.

"The floor space will go from 520m2 to 1300m2 to make it one of the largest electrical floor spaces in Toowoomba," he said. …
