Michael's Formula for Success; Experienced Driver Celebrates after Completing Clean Sweep

SPEEDWAY: Michael Pronger stamped his authority in heat one of the Formula 500s at the McCosker Rocky Speedway meeting on Saturday night and didn't look back.

The 56-year-old made it a clean sweep, winning the three heats and the feature in Round 4 of the F500 Rumble Series.

Hundreds of spectators turned out at the Rockhampton Showgrounds for the Back to School Bonanza, which also featured racing in Round 3 of the CQ Super Sedan All Star Series, super stockers and AMCA nationals.

Pronger, who lives in Bundaberg but is a member of the Curtis Coast Formula 500 Club, said it was a satisfying victory.

"It's all just a matter of piecing things together and improving all the time and when you come out in front you know you're doing things right," he said.

"I've been racing on and off since I was 16 so I've been involved for a lot of years. …
