THE largely diverse suburb of New Auckland is affordable, making it a great place for hunting home buyers.

New Auckland turns over home sales starting from $200,000, making it one of the most affordable suburbs in Gladstone.

Ray White co-owner John Fieldus said New Auckland as an easily accessible suburb, with connections to Dawson Hwy and Kirkwood Rd.

"All in all, it's affordable, a good location and it's got quite a lot of hills through so if you can get on the right side of the hill it has a pleasant aspect," Mr Fieldus said.

With a quaint shopping centre, supermarket and takeaway store and Bunnings store just a few minutes drive away, everything residents need is at their disposal.

According to realestate.com.au, 19.4% of New Auckland is home to maturing couples and families, 18.5% are established couples and families and 16.4% are older couples and families.

"There is a daycare which is very popular and an aged care facility, so whether you're a young one or old one, you're well cared for," Mr Fieldus said. …
