DON'T miss your last chance to explore the last of the summer season of exhibitions, including Appropriate/Not Appropriate works by Felicia Lloyd and Belynda (Bindi) Waugh and Take a Seat: The art of Peter Rowe at the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery and Museum before closing this Saturday.

Local artists Felicia Lloyd and Bindi Waugh have teamed up to present Appropriate/Not Appropriate, which is a diverse exhibition considering contemporary issues from new perspectives, using images and text.

The artists pose questions and examines ideals in the forum of traditional and digital prints, video works, installation, paintings and drawings.

"Bindi's work was very powerful, we enjoyed it a lot. Felicia's work was excellent - something to think about," visitors Yolanda and Angie from Brisbane said after exploring Appropriate/Not Appropriate exhibition.

Take a Seat is an exhibition of paintings around the concept of chairs as a metaphor for the support, family gatherings, comfort, home and relaxation that have enabled Peter Rowe to fulfil his dreams. …
