PASCOE WINS FINAL; Speedway Action Heats Up as Drivers Leave It All on the Mountain

SPEEDWAY: Gympie's Mothar Mountain Speedway played host to an enormous crowd on Saturday for the running of the G150 Super Sedan Gold Cup.

The meeting, supported by the Gympie Regional Council, provided excitement-plus all night from all of the divisions competing.

Although the numbers of Super Sedans present at the meeting was a little down on what was expected, those present provided plenty of fast, exciting and close racing.

Newly crowned Queensland Champion Matt Pascoe (left and above) continued with his recent winning form by leading home the field in the final.

Sam Roza, who learnt his trade as a junior driver on the mountain, came home in a well-earned second placing.

Veteran campaigner Ian Brims was a very close third.

Round 3 of the Ellerfield Financial Planning National 4's King of the Mountain Challenge also provided plenty of action for the spectators with fast, close and occasionally unconventional racing that kept everyone excited through all of their events. …
