New Principal Will Meet and Greet

Article excerpt

PARENTS and supporters are all invited to a meet and greet information session today from 3pm, beginning with a get-together in the Years 5/6 Classroom.

The meeting will discuss new programs and initiatives undertaken to enhance your children's education, followed by a free barbecue, providing an opportunity for everyone to meet others in the community while also welcoming new families to the school.

Parents can chat with teaching staff and volunteers; even meet with the new tuckshop convenor Laura Schuls who, along with her merry band of helpers, has some new and healthy additions on the menu.

For all enquiries about Widgee State School, contact the administration office on 5484 0888.

If you'd like to be part of the action and help save and conserve koalas in our local area, then come along this morning and bring your friends.

The meeting starts at 9.30am and bring a plate of goodies to share for morning tea plus a gold coin donation to help cover costs.

For further details contact Kath on 5484 0089 or 0411 635 459.

If you are unable to attend but would like more information you can contact the Koala Action Group via their email address: koalas@mrccc.org.au.
