Industrial Site Sells for $2.67M; Gowinta 3.79-Ha Parcel with Development Approvals Goes to Local Buyer

A 3.79-hectare industrial parcel located on the corner of Roys Road and Moroney Place at Beerwah has sold for $2.67million following and expression of interest campaign undertaken by Colliers International on behalf of Gowinta Farms.

The site, which has an approval for 18 industrial lots, was sold to a local owner-occupier who intends to use part of the site to expand his business operations.

Selling agent Nick Dowling who, along with Brisbane based rural and agriculture specialist Ben Forrest, negotiated the sale, said the property had attracted a wide range of interest with several offers being submitted.

"There is a lot of optimism in both the industrial land market and Beerwah in general at the moment,'' Mr Dowling said. "The local buyer recognised that there is very limited industrial land available in Beerwah and needed a larger area to operate his growing business from.

"It was a very strategic purchase, particularly given the forecast residential growth for the area over the next 10 to 20 years. …
