Steve Clarke MORPETH Town came away with a close 1-0 win at Washington, which leaves the Ebac Northern League Division One relegation position to be decided on season's final day.

The crucial goal came in the 33rd minute when Denver Morris lobbed onrushing keeper Daniel Gladstone.

Washington are fourth bottom, just a point ahead of Guisborough Town; Morpeth will finish third top.

Dunston UTS finished the game at Penrith on the wrong end of a 2-1 scoreline, despite taking the lead in the 17th minute, Dale Burrell firing past keeper Jonny Jamieson.

On 40 minutes, Penrith were awarded a penalty which Martyn Coleman converted - sending keeper Jack Norton the wrong way.

Five minutes after half-time the hosts won a second penalty, which Coleman again converted.

Shildon had an easy 3-0 home win over Marske United, Lewis Wing opening the scoring with a longrange shot after 65 minutes. Two minutes later, Adam Burnicle doubled the lead and Matthew Bell put through his own net on 77 minutes for Shildon's third. …
