IT'S Scottish Cup semi-final weekend and do you go with the favourites or opt for a Hibs v Rangers final.

On form Aberdeen and Celtic should be too good for their rivals but at this stage attitude and bottle are more important.

Bookies favour an Aberdeen v Celtic showdown next month and that pays 9-10 at Marathonbet while Hibs v Rangers is 12-1 at Paddy Power.

I favour the former which would be a repeat of the Betfred Cup Final but it's no cert. Hibs are holders and having clinched promotion will fight all the way to retain their trophy.

Aberdeen have had their mad moments at Hampden and it's incredible to think it's 27 years since they lifted the trophy.

They are more consistent now and on their day a better side than Hibs so I'm tempted by 21-20 (Marathonbet) to win in 90. To qualify for the Final they are less attractive at 8-15 (Marathonbet).

Hibs are 13-8 at McBookie and William Hill to qualify and 3-1 at Coral to win in normal time.

The Dons have lost just two in 10 to their Easter Road rivals and I can see them edging it maybe 2-1 at 8-1 with Paddy Power.

Both teams to score pays 7-10 at Ladbrokes and Aberdeen and both to score is 3-1 (William Hill). Adam Rooney is often the man for the big occasion and is 4-1 at Betfred to score first. Hibs will look to Jason Cummings to step up and he is 6-1 at Betfred.

Celtic have beaten Rangers three times but were held last time out.

That 1-1 draw will give the Ibrox side hope of causing an upset - they are 7-1 at McBookie to win tomorrow and 4-1 with Paddy Power to reach the Final.

London IN the FA siding with beat Arsenal but sitting with Spurs City are Betway to Back a 90 minutes McBookie face Chelsea. Celtic are too short at 1-5 so consider both to score at 17-20 with Betway - three out of four this season have gone that way.

Kenny Miller's been in good form for Caixinha and is 33-10 at 888sport to score while Scott Sinclair is evens with Betfred.

Rangers are 16-1 with McBookie to beat Celtic on penalties - just as they did last year.

In the Championship St Mirren are one of the form sides but aren't safe yet. …
