Bradley Not Well Enough to Make a Dream Trip

THE family of Bradley Lowery whose cancer battle has captured the hearts of the nation has been forced to cancel a dream holiday to America.

The five-year-old from Blackhall, County Durham, was due to fly to Disney World in Florida on Sunday.

But mum Gemma announced on Bradley's Facebook page that the trip has been cancelled over fears he is not well enough to travel.

She wrote: "Bradley is feeling a little better and his pain is slowly starting to improve.

"He is going to continue on antibiotics and be assessed each day and maybe have some radiotherapy.

"We have decided that we are cancelling our holiday to America as we were meant to go on Sunday and we don't feel he will be well enough. However we are hoping to get there in a few weeks."

The news comes days after terminally-ill Bradley led his beloved Sunderland team out as a mascot for the Black Cats' final home game in the Premier League.

The youngster was carried onto the pitch by his hero Jermain Defoe. …
