REVIEW TAKE THAT O2 Arena, SE10 "AFTER all these years, we cannot believe that you guys are still coming to see us," said Gary Barlow, two thirds of the way into the first of Take That's series of shows at the O2.

He's got a point. No one would fault the manband for weighing up retirement after almost 30 years in the game especially now that they're down to a plucky threesome. But, undeterred by the departure of Jason Orange or Robbie Williams' solo pursuits, "Take Three" are nothing if not resilient.

Last night was a testament to their staying power as much as it was a spectacularly fun and ambitious display of gratitude to their fans. Running at nearly two hours, the faultless extravaganza was a multicultural carnival, set on a circular stage in the middle of the O2.

Flying carpets, acrobats on bungees, jaw-dropping visuals and countless costume changes were just some of the highlights, along with a cast of dancers that could have been plucked out of the Cirque du Soleil. …
