REDCAR must atone for dropping more points at home last Thursday by turning the tables on jinx side Peterborough tomorrow (according to skipper Ben Barker).

Barker was angry that the SG Petch Bears could only salvage a draw against a 45-45 Panthers side who remain below them in the league but have yet to be beaten by the Teessiders in five clashes this year.

"We do need a string of good results to put us back into the mix and when we meet Sheffield (who lie immediately above the Bears in the table) home and away, we have to win both now."

Manager Jitendra Duffill admitted his team struggled to get to grips with the track as much as the Panthers prowess in the early races and said: "I don't want to blame the track because it's the same for everybody," pointed out Duffill. …
