'THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE: A MUSICAL COMEDY'

Tuesday through Aug. 20; Limelight Theatre, St. Augustine; tickets: $26

I love the arts, but when it comes to plays, I'm typically a one-and-done kind of gal. "The Putnam County Spelling Bee" is an exception. This hilarious peek behind the curtain of the curiously odd world of spelling bee participants has to "bee" repeated. If for no other reason than to see how this cast will interpret the characters. Get $15 Terrific Tuesday tickets for this week only or any night at regular price at limelight-theatre.org.

That whole season I would pass by my little piece of art and proudly announce for anyone to hear, "I painted that!" Make your own memory this season. Meet JAX Chamber President Daniel Davis, The Roar cheerleaders, Jaxson de Ville and the D-Line in parking lots H and K of Everbank Field. Details at MyJAXChamber.org.
