Cats Set to Grab Lewis on Loan Deal; WEARMEN IN GRABBAN LOAN MOVE

BOURNEMOUTH striker Lewis Grabban has been linked with a loan move to Sunderland.

The 29-year-old is reported to be set to join the Black Cats on a season-long move, having been told he can leave the Cherries.

Bournemouth added Jermain Defoe to their squad this summer, while Grabban was already surplus to requirements - having spent last season on loan with Reading.

Speaking about Grabban and defender Marc Wilson, Howe said this week: "I think there is a good chance both players may look to leave the club in this window.

"I have to make some difficult choices and work with the players I feel are going to participate during our season.

"Unfortunately, I'm going to have to make some tough calls."

Now reports suggest Simon Grayson is looking to bring him to Wearside.

The club are also in talks over a possible loan deal for Aston Villa's Ross McCormack.

Grabban is a much-travelled forward who has played for no less than nine different clubs so far in his career, which has seen several loan deals. …
