RAILTON MARION (Annitsford). Peacefully in hospital on July 30th, aged 86 years. Marion, beloved wife of the late Walter, much loved mam of Marilyn and Christine, dear mother-in-law of John and Phil, and dearly loved grandma of Emma and partner Luke and Harry. Funeral service at West Road Crematorium on Wednesday 9th August at 3.30pm. Family flowers only, donations in lieu of flowers will be collected at crematorium for Dementia Care UK.

ROBINSON MAVIS (Byker). Suddenly on July 24th, aged 78 years. Mavis much loved mam of Mark, dearly loved mother-in-law of Louise, devoted gran of Lucas, loving sister of Jean, sister-in-law of Peter, dear auntie of Carole, Kim, Julie, Tracy and David and will be sadly missed by all great nephews and nieces. Funeral service at West Road Crematorium on Thursday 10th August at 12.30pm. Family and friends please meet at crematorium. Family flowers only, donations in lieu of flowers will be collected at the crematorium for The North East Air Ambulance and The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.

RODMELL ALAN (Ovingham). Suddenly at home on 28th July 2017 aged 62 years Alan, dearly loved husband of Brenda, loving dad of Alan, Lyndsey and Kelly, devoted grandad of Christopher, Joseph, Alexander, Freya, Connie and Lydia, Alan will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Would friends please meet for service and cremation at West Road Crematorium Newcastle, on Thursday 10th August at 2.45 pm. Family flowers only please a retiring collection in aid of The British Heart Foundation will be available at the end of the service.

ROGERSON JOAN (North Kenton). Suddenly after a short illness in hospital, on 28th July, aged 84 years. Joan (nee Stobbs), the dearly loved wife of Harry, much loved mam of Stephen and Keith, mother-in-law of Anne, and grandma to David and Andrew, also a dearly loved sister to Jennifer. Family and friends please meet for service at West Road Crematorium on Wednesday 9th August at 12.45pm. Donations in lieu of flowers to Dementia Care.

SIMPSON FREDA (Washington) Suddenly at home on 29th July aged 92 years. Freda, beloved wife of the late Kit, dearly loved Mam of June and Christopher, loving mother-in-law of Brian, much loved grandma of Darren, Shelley and Victoria and a loved Great Grandma of Megan, Harry, Jack, Amelia and Thomas. Friends please meet for service at High Usworth Parish Church on Wednesday 9th August at 11.15am followed by cremation at Birtley Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to St Thomas Handicapped Club by a collection in church. Everyone is welcome to The Black Bush, Washington Village afterwards.
