A YOUNG Teesside mum who set up her own hair salon so she could work flexible hours when her baby came along is going from strength to strength.

Chloe Wright, 25, runs CLO&CO on Stockton's Prince Regent Street - after relocating to larger premises from Ingleby Barwick.

She's built up a solid client list after a busy first year and has urged anyone thinking of setting up their own business to "go for it" as there's "nothing to lose".

Chloe said: "I started the business so I could have more flexible hours when I had my little girl.

"I was working for someone else, and it was difficult for me - so I got my own shop.

"I liked the idea of being my own boss. It was something I always wanted to do, but the opportunity came up a lot quicker than I expected.

"I would say to people 'just go for it' - you've got nothing to lose.'.

"It was a risk but it worked out well.

"It's been brilliant for me, better than I imagined.

"As the business grew I bought more things for it outright. …
