A SEX abuser told his schoolgirl victim "shush - don't say anything," Teesside Crown Court heard.

Ryan Foster, 23, was banned for five years from having contact with girls under 16 after his attack on a 14-year-old girl.

Foster, who had spent the equivalent of a 12-month jail sentence as a remand prisoner, was released with a suspended prison sentence.

Prosecutor Shaun Dodds told Teesside Crown Court that Foster groped the girl as she was sleeping at a friend's home which he was visiting on February 17.

She awoke to find him trying to give her a love bite on her neck, and she pushed him away, telling him to leave her alone.

Mr Dodds said: "She said she wanted nothing to with him because she was only 14 and he was 22."

She managed to push him off again, saying "Get yourself out". She started to scream, waking up her brother.

It was 5am and the brother saw Foster walking out, saying "Shush, don't say anything". Her mother downstairs heard her crying, and the girl told her that she had been touched by him.

Some time later, when she was 15, she was at a youth club when she saw him standing there. He shouted "I'm going to get away with this, you're the one that deserves to die. …
