Apple Boss Slams Trump over Neo-Nazi Comments

APPLE chief executive Tim Cook slammed President Donald Trump today for believing there's "moral equivalence" between neo-Nazis and anti-racist protesters after violence in the US.

Cook, the 56-year-old chief executive of the world's biggest company, said blaming both sides for violence in Charlottesville, Virginia over the weekend "runs counter to our ideals".

One protester was killed and scores more were injured after violent scenes at a Unite the Right rally, where the far Right gathered to protest the removal of a statue depicting a Confederate American civil war general.

"We must not witness or permit such hate and bigotry in the country, and we must be unequivocal about it," Cook (pictured) said in an email to Apple staff.

"This is not about the left or the right, conservative or liberal. It is about human decency and morality. I disagree with the president and others who believe that there is a moral equivalence between white supremacists and Nazis, and those who oppose them by standing up for human rights. …
