Lamb Feels Right at Home during Muster; Good to Be Back after Trip to Nashville

CHRISTIE Lamb is happy to be back on home soil at the Gympie Muster.

The singer/songwriter has just returned from a five-week songwriting trip to Nashville in the US.

Aside from coming home with 35 new songs, Christie also performed at the Bluebird CafA[c] made famous by the TV series Nashville.

"About four-and-a-half-years ago I lined up (at the Bluebird) and they cut the line off and I was the very next one who would have gone in," she said.

"Since the TV show its been so popular and hard to get in. I got to stand on that stage and sing a couple of original songs. It was such a great place; you could hear a pin drop in there."

But the pinch-me moment almost got the better of the award-winning singer.
