Ant Set to Return to TV after Rehab Spell; I'M A CELEB COMEBACK LINED UP AFTER STAR'S DRUGS FIGHT

ANT McPartlin will be hosting this year's series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here, ITV have confirmed.

The Geordie TV star entered rehab in June after going public with his battle against depression, alcohol and substance abuse.

Ant - one half of much-loved duo Ant and Dec - revealed he nearly died after struggling with a two-year addiction to super-strength painkillers following a knee operation in 2015.

The revelation had cast doubt over whether he would be able to travel to Australia in October to present I'm a Celebrity, alongside TV partner Declan Donnelly.

But now ITV boss Kevin Lygo has confirmed he is set to return to screens to front the hit show.

Lygo told the Edinburgh International TV Festival: "Ant is doing really well and we are expecting him to return for I'm a Celebrity ." Last month a source told the Sunday Mirror they were confident Ant would be back. …
