AFL Premiership Battle Enters Best Stage of the Season

Article excerpt

THE final eight in the AFL is settled and if you are a fan of the Crows, Cats, Tigers, Giants, Power, Swans, Bombers or Eagles then your season is still alive.

The Crows won the minor premiership but will go into the first semi suffering a last- start loss.

The Cats are in fine form and will play a big part over the next few weeks.

The mighty Tigers will have the huge army behind them as their fans are starting to dream.

The Giants, who were premiership favourites a few weeks ago, are getting some troops back but will have to start playing for the full game.

The Power are on a three-game winning streak.

The Swans are a team on the rise and will take some great form into the finals.

The Bombers have made a terrific resurgence after a year from hell while the Eagles will hope their form from the last round stays with them.
