Police Name Victim of Fatal Street Fight

THIS is the first picture of a man who was stabbed to death during a street fight in west London.

Patrick Oyeri, 29, was today named by Scotland Yard as the victim of the brawl between two groups of men in Hounslow on Monday. Police officers who were called to reports of a fight in Rosebery Road at 3.35pm found Mr Oyeri collapsed with a stab wound.

Doctors and paramedics from the London Air Ambulance treated him at the scene but he died at 4.18pm.

A post-mortem examination found that the cause of death was a stab wound to the liver. There have been no arrests. Mr Oyeri's family hopes to raise PS5,000 to take his body to Uganda, where he was born, for a funeral.

His brother Henry Oyeri, writing on the JustGiving website, said: "It's with a heavy heart that I have to inform you that my brother Patrick Oyeri was killed on Monday 4th September in broad daylight. …
