BRIDGES

- The Browns Creek Bridge on Heckscher Drive in Jacksonville is expected to be closed a week for emergency repairs.

- The Black Creek Bridge on County Road 218 in Clay County remains closed.

GOVERNMENT

- City of Jacksonville offices resumed normal business.

- Duval County trash pickup is moved back a day from normally scheduled times for the week. For yard debris, crews will be working seven days a week from sunrise to sunset but there won't be a schedule for particular streets. Crews will make multiple passes over the entire city.

- The Duval County Courthouse is closed through Friday.

- The only Duval shelters open are at Southside Baptist Church at 1936 Hendricks Ave. and Legends Center at 5054 Soutel Drive.

- The Prime Osborn Convention Center at 1000 Water St. is opening its doors 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. to help people seeking to "cool off" a bit with air-conditioning and access to electricity and internet. People will need to bring their own equipment (electronics, and charging cords). JEA will have representatives on-site to answer questions about power restoration.

- Clay County yard and tree debris will not be picked up this week. Curbside garbage services will resume as scheduled Thursday. The Rosemary Hill Solid Waste Management Facility is open normal hours.

- Clay County is consolidating shelter operations with special needs at Thrasher-Horne Center, 283 College Drive, and general population at Orange Park High School, 2300 Kingsley Ave.

- Clay County boat ramps are closed until Monday.

- St. Johns County will resume standard operations Thursday with all administration offices, libraries, pet center and recreational facilities open for standard business hours. Its County Commission meeting is canceled Tuesday.

- St. Johns County has opened the Solomon Calhoun Community Center, 1300 Duval St., as a post-impact shelter for those who are unable to return to their homes. All other shelters are closed.

- St. Johns County residents who typically have garbage collection services Wednesday and Thursday will have their garbage collected Thursday. …
