Why did you apply?

We applied to be a Student Promotion Leader because we wanted to expand out of our comfort zones and become more independent and mature. We wanted to play a part in our school, and become great role-models for our present and future students and possible leaders for our constantly growing school.

How were you selected?

We were selected by going through a process of questions on the school computers asking us why we wanted to be student leaders. Secondly we wrote a speech about why they would want us to be a great student leader like: what we would do to help students, teachers and staff. The staff voted and we were told we had been selected by our Principal.

Types of leaders

There are three different roles of being a student leader but they all mean something and do something very special for our school. The first roles are the House Captains, who are someone who encourages and helps all the people to participate in school sports carnivals. …
