NEED some inspiration when it comes to creating the perfect party look this Halloween? Whether it is dress up for the kids or something spooktacular for the grown-ups, production arts make-up students at Stockton Riverside College say they can help.

A team of 11 students have come together to launch their own small enterprise, delivering a variety of make-up services.

M.U. Angels is one of a number of small enterprises launched by learners at the college as part of the borough-wide Enterprising Stockton initiative.

Production arts make-up student Jordan Croslegh, 18, said: "As a team we all have specialist skills or areas of make-up that we enjoy most. By working together we are able to build on our strengths while also developing business skills that will help in our future careers."

In preparation for the Halloween festivities the students have put together their top tips for creating two ghoulish looks to inspire | Please note: Most face paints are child-friendly but we always recommend a patch test 24 hours prior to application; this can be carried out behind the ear or in the crook of the arm.

WOOD -STAINED DOLL FOR a look that is simple to create and can be as gruesome as you choose, production arts student Ethan Woodward recommends the wood stained doll. The 19-year-old from Darlington says fake blood splatters are optional. 1. Remove any existing make-up using a gentle wash or cleanser.

2. To create a base for adults apply a foundation that is a shade or two darker than their own skin tone. No base required for children. 3. Create a contour effect around the cheekbones using a darker shade than the base (for a child's look use a bronze face paint).
