Alleged Trafficker Knew Aust Post Track Number

AN AUSTRALIA Post tracking number was provided by one accused trafficker to another during a telephone conversation which was intercepted by police.

Brooke Jade Anne Baker, 23, (pictured) appeared in the Rockhampton Magistrates Court on Friday for a bail application after she was arrested and charged with 16 offences last week following a Central Queensland drug operation carried out by police.

Police Prosecutor Sergeant Kevin Ongheen said during a conversation with co-accused Michael Winbank, Baker allegedly discussed an order she'd placed online for methamphetamine, including telling Winbank the Australia Post tracking number for the parcel.

"She said he could have two points," he said.

Police executed a warrant on Baker's property on November 1 and allegedly found two mobile phones, electronic scales, utensils, pipe and clip seal bags.

There were a number of conversations between Baker and Winbank that police intercepted, and it will be alleged that Baker sought to buy half grams of meth a number of times and an eight ball on one occasion for another buyer. …
