HERE is a lively -- and often amusing -- -- tribute to the energetic and talented Jewish emigre designers who brought modernism from continental Europe to Britain, and radically transformed our design.

See iconic posters, including some created for London Underground, the General Post Office and the War Office, by the likes of Dorrit Dekk, FHK Henrion and Hans Schleger, and recognise classic designs including the London Transport bus stop sign, and collectibles, such as a Seventies Raleigh Chopper bike and an early Marble Run toy.

HALF-LIFE BY ELLIOT WALKER Vessel Gallery, 114 Kensington Park Road, W11 (020 7727 8001; FOUNDED in 1999, Vessel Gallery is now an international centre for art glass. "And here is the most promising British glass sculptor for decades," says co-founder Angel Monzon, introducing the first solo show of "a unique artist".
