A JOBBING actor who was Brad Pitt's body double in the film Snatch has been selected for a prestigious photography prize after switching professions.

Matt Cooper, 47, was an actor for more than a decade, also standing in for Christopher Walken in the 1999 horror film Sleepy Hollow, as well as Pitt in the 2000 Guy Ritchie crime caper. But Mr Cooper grew frustrated at the roles he was being offered and took up photography after buying a camera to go on a skiing holiday and realising he had a talent for it.

The full-time photographer has now had four of his images selected for Landscape Photographer of the Year 2017, which will be exhibited at Waterloo station from next Monday and also published as a book.
