GROUP OF FIVE READY TO GO; Champs Set for Country

SURF LIFE SAVING: Inspired by each other, these young surf lifesavers are helping each other to get to the top.

Bundaberg Surf Life Saving Club's Nathan Robinson, Jack Lester, Ky Woods and Tynan Smith-Rasmussen have all been selected for Queensland Country after impressing recently at the North Australian championships in Mackay.

Robinson led the way, winning two gold medals in U17 beach flags and beach sprint with Woods winning in U15 beach flags.

They will now compete for Country against three other Queensland branches in the interbranch championships starting this Friday on the Gold Coast.

"This is my second time selected," Robinson revealed.

"I'm looking forward to representing Queensland Country again."

The other three will be at the competition for the first time and will be joined by Baylee Holden who was selected for Elliott Heads Surf Life Saving Club.

Smith-Rasmussen is just happy to be there. …
