Coleman Will Focus on 'Hard Workers'

GO and find somewhere else to play football.

That is new Sunderland manager Chris Coleman's simple message to any player not willing to give their all for the club.

The Black Cats find themselves bottom of the Championship table after 18 games. After the club brought down the axe on Simon Grayson, Coleman is now tasked with avoiding relegation.

And he is adamant that he will suffer no fools at the club. No matter how big the reputation of the player, if they're not fully committed, they won't play.

Asked about the club's vice captain Lee Cattermole's return after missing his first game in charge at Aston Villa through suspension, Coleman said: "Lee Cattermole plays all the time. He doesn't miss unless he absolutely has to. He isn't a worry to me.

"These are the type of players who are going to get us away from where we are. …
