Alistair Foster Showbusiness Correspondent LOUIS WALSH says making his stage debut in London this week will be another item "ticked off the bucket list" and joked that he has had plenty of acting experience as a judge on The X Factor.

The 65-year-old will play a Hollywood producer in Nativity! The Musical, for five shows from tomorrow. Written and directed by Debbie Isit, it is based on the 2009 film starring Martin Freeman that she also penned and directed.

Walsh told the Standard: "It's totally different for me. It's one more thing ticked off the bucket list. I never wanted to be in front of the camera, as it were I've always been the manager. The only acting I've ever done is on The X Factor wait, can I say that? I may have been Baby Jesus in a nativity play when I was two or three, but that's all I've ever done. …
