Stunned by Stranger's Generosity for Kenz

A COMPLETE stranger walked into Dibsy's Grotto, donated PS650, and said: "Merry Christmas".

The good deed helped smash organiser Dibsy McClintock's aim to raise enough cash to cover the cost of a headstone for tragic youngster McKenzie 'Kenz' Moore.

And the act of kindness left Dibsy stunned.

"He sat down with me, had a hot chocolate and started talking about his son and the grotto," he recalled.

"He asked me what the total was we wanted to raise, and as he walked out he gave this money and just said 'Merry Christmas.'.

"It was unbelievable - he was clearly in a position where he could afford to do it, but he didn't have to.

"And when I counted it, it took us past our total. Without it we probably wouldn't have reached it."

Big-hearted Dibsy's now thanked the stranger, as well as everyone else who came and made his Pallister Park grotto the most successful yet. …
