DUBAI is a more than a stopover or transit destination. Clients book trips to Europe all the time and generally they are flying with Emirates or Qantas. We know that Qantas and Emirates have flights that travel via the United Arab Emirates, and Dubai is generally where they land and let you off to stretch your legs. We generally don't have many clients just travelling to Dubai for a holiday, but if you had limited time and were looking a short-stay holiday, say even to nine days, then I would suggest thinking about Dubai.

Dubai, a large city surrounded by desert where temperatures reach into the 40s on a daily basis does not sound too inviting, but you pick the right time of year and you will see a fantastic and vibrant city.

Right now the temperatures are perfect for visiting but over the next few months you will see them rise. Dubai is well equipped to handle the heat with attractions, shopping malls and hotels all air conditioned.

The city is a modern city that has grown up out of a sandy desert with fabulous restaurants for eating out and hotels of a grand scale. There is hotel service that will you not find anywhere else in the world.

Finding something to do in Dubai won't be too difficult; tourism is one of the fastest growing industries. A must do attraction when you visit Dubai is the Dubai Desert Safari. You will be collected from your hotel and taken by a 4x4 into the vast expanse of the desert. You will dip low in the deep trenches and rise high on the pinnacle of the dunes.

You will also be able to enjoy a camel ride in this seemingly endless desert.

Afterwards they will

take you to a Bedouin campsite where you will be treated to a feast and while eating you watch the belly dancers.

If you are travelling with children then I would suggest maybe taking a day out and visit one of the two water parks. …
