SWANSEA 3 ARSENAL 1 PETR CECH today admitted Arsenal are guilty of repeating the same mistakes in a dreadful run of away form that is threatening to wreck their Premier League season.

The Gunners surrendered a 1-0 lead handed to them through Nacho Monreal's fourth goal of the season as Sam Clucas netted a brace either side of Jordan Ayew capitalising on a dreadful error from Cech midway through the second half.

Arsene Wenger's side are now eight points behind fourth-placed Liverpool after another disastrous outing on the road; the Gunners have taken just 13 points on their travels this season, amassing just three wins from 13 games. "We are aware that the position in the table that we are in, is thanks to the away form," said Cech.

"When you keep making mistakes then obviously at this level the team can take advantage of that and I thought that going 1-0 up was a big breakthrough for us," said Cech. "We took advantage of the game but unfortunately they managed to equalise pretty quickly and in the second half I obviously made a mistake for the second goal and then we made a mistake for the third goal. You can chase the game and make a lot of effort, but if you give your opponent two goals like that then it is very difficult. …
