Strongman Eddie Wants a Quiet Word; and You'd Better Be Quick about It Too

ARE you one of the many Teessiders wanting to meet the World's Strongest Man in person? If so, you need to be quick, as tickets are selling fast.

Strongman Eddie Hall will be heading to Middlesbrough in July where he will give an "in-depth" talk about his career and life's journey to become the strongest man on the planet.

The sportsman will be appearing at The Longlands Club, in Marton Road, on July 6 and fans have been assured they can ask anything they want.

And after the news broke that he would be appearing, tickets began selling out quickly.

The manager of the club, Michael Hill, told The Gazette many of the tickets have sold already.

"Over 50% have already been bought," he said.

"We've had a great response and there's a lot of interest so we are expecting to sell out quickly.

"We're looking forward to having him here."

Eddie, who became the first British man to win the coveted title since Gary Taylor in 1993, said he hopes fans will be able to take something away from his inspiring story. …
